Sobremesa is one of the top restaurants in Antigua for many reasons. International cuisine, great service and environment, the original ice cream flavors and the many paintings in the walls. I admire the owner Alex, the creative mind behind this place and who gives back to the local community (in silence, and because of that I want to recognize it), I've seen him at night giving food to homeless people in the park and that tells you a lot of a person

Cada vez que vamos a cenar a Sobremesa, el dueño Alex, nos sorprende con nuevos platos exóticos, nuevas ideas variadas y creativas y por su puesto la comida es exquisita. El lugar es como siempre muy acojedor, decorado con las obras de arte de Alex quien tambien es pintor, ademas de escritor y fabuloso chef.
Los meseros son amables, el servicio excelente, y el dueño es la persona mas agradable que hayamos conocido. Un dueño perfecto para un restaurante perfecto. Y por supuesto no nos podemos quedar sin hablar de los helados exoticos de Sobremesa, que estan a la vuelta del restaurante, una muestra mas de la gran mente creativa de Alex quien inventa todo tipo de sabores para sus helados, ya sean dulces o salados, con ingredientes a veces que no imaginariamos pero que hacen helados unicos y los mejores de la Antigua Guatemala.
